Junior Wardens

The Junior Wardens at the Centre are a group of Year 5 and Year 6 children from Charmouth Primary School that meet once a week to learn about their local environment and assist the Centre wardens on a wide range of activities and events.

In the autumn term the Junior Wardens have been working on a brand new project – The Charmouth Dinosaur. Here’s what they’ve been getting up to…

The Charmouth Dinosaur - An introduction to this brand new project ‘The Charmouth Dinosaur’ and making magic shrinking dinosaur badges.

Dinosaur Dig - Discovering how fossils are unearthed and uncovering a dinosaur to take home.

Crime Scene Investigation: Charmouth - Working as a detective to uncover the clues and work out who or what killed the Charmouth Dinosaur.

Dino Display - Joining local artist Darrell Wakelam, who made the dinosaur masks and huge plesiosaur in the Centre, to begin making a display for the project.

The Charmouth Dinosaur Weekend – making a model of the Charmouth Dinosaur with local artist Darrell Wakelam to go on display in the Centre.
