Charmouth Heritage Coast Centre

The Charmouth Heritage Coast Centre is located on The Jurassic Coast, England’s first Natural World Heritage Site. The beaches around Charmouth are world famous for the amazing fossils that can be found washed out of the cliffs.

In 2009 the Centre welcomed over 92,000 visitors and over 5,000 school children on educational trips. The Centre was set up in 1985 by the local community to educate the public on how to collect fossils safely and responsibly.
