If you have ever wanted to try your hand at fossil collecting, then join us for a weekend of fun aimed specifically at families and children. Our experienced wardens will be delighted to share their knowledge and experience with you. All Fossil weekends run over the Autumn and Winter period as this is the best time to visit Charmouth for fossil hunting!
The Centre is situated on England’s World Heritage Site “Jurassic Coast” and right in the heart of fossil hunting country. We have been helping people enjoy the coast for over 20 years, with information on a wide range of subjects from fossils and geology to marine life and the surrounding countryside.
