Beach café, CharmouthPopular café at Charmouth beach serving breakfasts, lunches, cream teas and snacks. Locally made cakes and Lovington's ice cream are much enjoyed by regular customers who sit outside and soak up the view.

SOFT ROCK CAFÉ

The Soft Rock Café, CharmouthThe Soft Rock Café is situated right on East Beach in Charmouth. The café has an unmissable view of the Jurassic coast and is perfect for quenching your first after a day on the beach or hiking the beautiful surrounding hills. Serves a range of foods including a mouth-watering selection of local Dorset cakes, Lyme Regis caught crab sandwiches and the good old Fish and chips! In addition we also hire out hammers for those keen fossilers!

If you fancy trying out a fantastic range of local fish then why not try our Jurassic Seafood Restaurant in Lyme Regis, where you can see all the food being cooked right before your eyes. We are also able to book mackerel and sight seeing trips along the Jurassic coastline from our own fishing boat, leaving from Lyme Regis Harbour at times that best suit you.

The White House Hotel, CharmouthThe White House is a luxurious Regency house in the centre of Charmouth, owned and run by Ian and Liz Simpson since 2001. There are three large double/twin rooms and one suite which can accommodate up to four people.

AA 4 Star GoldIn April 2013, the White House was awarded four Gold Stars by the AA along with an AA Dinner and Breakfast award. They also won Gold Standard for B&B and Restaurant in the Taste of the West 2012 awards.

The restaurant is open Tuesday to Saturday inclusive. The Hotel can accommodate up to 10 people and is available for exclusive use for family celebrations and special occasions.

DINING AT NEWLANDS

Dining at Newlands Holiday Park, CharmouthOur chef provides locally sourced produce with a varied family friendly menu. All food is freshly cooked in our kitchen.

The menu consists of traditional classics and tasty specials. Newlands is part of the Taste of the West scheme, meaning meals are made using the best local produce.

The restaurant specialises in West Country reared meat and locally caught fish. Our fish supplier only sources fish from areas managed responsibly, promoting the message of sustainability. Weekly specials of local, line caught fish are available too.

We also offer take away food, including traditional fish and chips, burgers and pies. Open from Easter 2012 to the end of October; Lunch is served daily 12 - 2pm, with evening & take away food served 5.30pm - 9pm.
