FOSSIL HUNTING WALKS

Guided fossil hunting walks are a chance to learn about the different types of rocks and fossils found at Charmouth. The 2 hour session starts with a short talk on how to best look for fossils, the rest of the time is spent out on the beach fossil hunting with help from one or more of the wardens.

All walks start up in the centre. Don't forget to read the fossil collecting code before you come!

Cost of Fossil Walks: Adult £7, Child £3

Walks last about 2 hours

You can book a private fossil hunting walk with one of the wardens for a charge of £50 (groups larger than 7 revert to public walks prices).
