Pop into the Centre to meet
some local fossil collectors of Charmouth and see their fantastic finds! 10.30am - 4.30pm Fossil Fantastic Marquee
Join the World Heritage Site Team on a dino dig, help to create an ammonite graveyard with Darrell Wakelam Artist, and find out about the Jurassic Coast Trust and it's work on the coastline. 2.00pm - 4.00pm Ammonite Polishing and Fossil Mould Making
Polish your own ammonite slice to take home with you... or why not make a fossil mould of an ancient sea creature!

Head for the beach at Charmouth! Come and visit us upstairs in the large building on the seafront. The Centre has disabled access to the rear of the building. Take the bus....enjoy the view...It's number X53

Watch professional collector, Tony Gill, crack open a 'woodstone' nodule to see if there are any fossils inside. Woodstones often contain beautiful fossils but we can't say if this one does until the moment we break it open. We could see a 'magic' moment where a fossil is revealed for the first time in 185 million years! 2.00pm - 4.00pm Ammonite Polishing and Fossil Mould Making
